Meet June Bug! This sweet little girl is an adorable 12-week-old Alaskan Malamute/Husky mix. She was part of a litter of 8 puppies who were surrendered with her mom to our rescue from a previous breeding operation. We held off posting this little girl because she was the tiniest of the litter and needed more help in the early weeks. At 7 weeks old, she walked a little wobbly but has gained strength and worked through it. With thought neurological at first, but those signs are no longer present. She now walks/runs/plays like a normal puppy. The vet has medically cleared her, and she will live a normal, long, healthy life.
Though June had a rough start to the world- she is now ready to call a home her very own. She loves playing with other dogs (big and small), cats, and humans of all ages. She loves all toys and chews. She loves the little dens we create for her under blankets and cuddling up on the couch next to you.
She is still a little bit mouthy, which is normal puppy behavior, and we are working on it. She is now 90% crate-trained and 60% potty-trained. She would love an active home that can give her all the tools, training, and mental and physical stimulation to give her the best life possible. June weighs in at about 12 pounds at her age, so we expect her to be on the smaller side, around 50 pounds maximum, when fully grown.
