Bailey is one of four Irish Setters we rescued from an incredibly difficult situation. She and the others spent nearly 19 hours a day living inside a van, with very little opportunity to simply be dogs. Despite everything she’s been through, Bailey has remained one of the sweetest, gentlest souls we’ve ever met.

Bailey is the definition of elegance. She carries herself with a regal, calm, and dignified presence that perfectly represents everything people love about the Irish Setter breed. She has impeccable house manners, walks beautifully on a leash, and has been an absolute joy in her foster home.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality shines. Bailey is a true cuddle bug who loves being close to her people and will happily ask for belly rubs whenever she gets the chance. She has such a gentle, loving heart and forms wonderful bonds with those she trusts.

Bailey is fantastic with other dogs and enjoys their company. She is also crate trained and potty trained, making her transition into a forever home much easier.
Irish Setters are known for their affectionate, playful, loyal, and people-oriented personalities. They thrive as part of the family and are happiest when included in everyday life. While they have an athletic side and enjoy regular exercise, they are also incredibly devoted companions who love spending time with their people.
Like all Irish Setters, Bailey will do best with a family that understands the breed’s needs.

They require daily exercise, mental stimulation, and regular grooming to maintain their beautiful red coats. Their silky feathering benefits from frequent brushing to prevent tangles and mats. Irish Setters are social dogs that don’t enjoy being left alone for long periods and truly flourish when they’re treated as part of the family.

After spending years confined to a van, Bailey is finally discovering what it means to stretch her legs, sleep in a comfortable home, and be cherished. She deserves a family that will continue giving her the life she’s always deserved.
