HAPPY TAILS
These are some of our rescue stories! Each dog has there own story and now happily in their forever homes!

Kai
Sweet Kai came to us in 2022 and was given less than a year to live. She was neglected and when her owner passed away, this sweet girl needed a new home. Shaland welcomed her into her home and she is still going strong and healthier than ever!

Wolfie
Wolfie’s mom had accidentally chewed off her leg thinking it was the umbilical cord. She came to us when she was just two weeks old and needing an immediate leg amputation. After weeks of bottle feeding and learning to walk on three legs, Wolfie is in her forever home with all the love in the world!

Fergus
Fergus was viciously attacked not only once, but another two separate times, landing him in the emergency hospital a total of three times in a couple months. The last attack fractured his front leg and dislocated his hip. After a long road of healing for the last 4 months with us, months of a cast, multiple vet visits, crate rest, and all the TLC, Fergus is now recovered and thriving in his home!

Harley Quinn
We pulled Harley from the shelter seeing how neglected and overbred this poor girl was. After a few days, Harley came down with Kennel Cough. However, antibiotics were not working. Harley developed severe pneumonia and ended up needing to be hospitalized for 8 days! The vets started suggesting to us that she’s probably not going to make it because she was so sick, wasn’t showing much improvement, thousands of dollars in already, and asked if we wanted to euthanize her. We said absolutely not, we will fight for her. Harley pulled through and is now living the life happy and healthy!

Pretzel
Tiny Pretzel was rescued from Tijuana. She is tiny but mighty! She was hit by a car and incredibly survived with little injuries. She was the silliest little girl with the biggest personality. She was in her forever home for a little over year until she passed away. Pretzel’s paws will forever be in our hearts.

Noelle
Adorable Noelle came to us as an owner surrender. Little did we know until weeks later that she was pregnant! Pregnant with one giant baby! Her baby was so big she was unable to give birth naturally, so as soon as she started we took her in to get a C-Section. All went amazing and she gave birth to one very healthy puppy named Pearl!

Compton 19
We call this rescue mission “Compton 19.” We took in 19 puppies from one household. Unfortunately, the 5 adult dogs in this home went unfixed, resulting in 3 separate litters from Terriers, to Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds. We found homes for all the puppies and spayed and neutered their dogs to prevent anymore accidental litters!

Zuri
Abandoned in a field and left to die, Zuri the baby hippo we call her, thankfully found her way to us. She was so skiiny and had one of the worst cases of Mange I have ever seen. After many weeks of treatment and lots of love, Zuri fully recovered and found her forver family!

Olive and Wilbur
Olive and Wilbur were born on my sister’s pillow! We took in a doggie not knowing she was pregnant. Soon after, she gave birth and we welcomed these two little angels into the world! Both are happy doggies in their homes now!

Sedona
Sedona was found as a stray and was skin and bones! She was very shy at first and scared of the world. But once she realized we were there to love and care for her, she opened her heart and is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet! Sedona is so happy in her new home!

Sadie
This big girl came all the way from Indiana! Her owner was in the Los Angeles are for work and was attempting to sell her on Facebook. I reached out to him offering to take her into our rescue, explaining him the dangers of just selling dogs to anyone, but he did not want to give her up for anything less than $1000. Obviously I was not going to purchase her, so I had to let it go. Three days later, the man contacts me he is ready to give her to me, so I happily took her in!

Walker
Walker was found with his mother and brother as strays at just 3 months old. We think they were dumped because there were very clear signs of abuse and neglect on mama dog. Luckily a Good Samaritan caught all three of them and contacted us! This family ended up keeping mama and we found two wonderful homes for both brothers, now named Crash and Radar!

Cashew
Cashew is one of the cuddliest and silliest dog’s you’ll ever meet! But Cashew also has Epilepsy and can be a bit of a firecracker! With Cashew not being fond of strangers and liking to take little bites out of them, Cashew happily made his way into our own pack and is living the life with his brothers, sisters, and absolutely loves to be a trainer for our foster puppies!

Pepper & Chini
These two inseparable sisters needed two names that fit together to encompass their bond. One of my favorite foods are pepperoncinis and then I just knew exactly what to name them! Pepper and Chini came from a household with 8 outdoor Chihuahuas. The landlord forced them to rehome some of them and they chose to keep the puppies and rehome the seniors. We love our seniors so we could not resist helping them! They are living the best life together!

Malamute/Husky Family
This gorgeous family was taken from a backyard breeder. She had more than 23 huskies living in her yard. Ridden with intestinal parasites, fleas, filth, and one puppy with neurological issues, this did not stop us from giving them the love and care they needed! After getting them healthy, we found amazing homes for each and every one of this beautiful pack!

Ruffino
Look at this transformation! This cutie was running on the streets of Compton, covered in fleas, extremely matted, and two horrible ear infections. You would never guess how tiny and adorable he was under all that matted fur! Ruffino is the sweetest, most grateful little guy and living his best life with a wonderful family!

Box Litter
We call this the box litter because unfortunately, some horrible people put these 7 puppies in a box and dumped them on a freeway off ramp. They were only 3 weeks old. Our wonderful fosters had to bottle feed some of them as they were right at the transition phase getting introduced to wet food. At only a few pounds when we got them, these puppies turned out to be very chunky and weighing upwards of 80 pounds! All now in happy homes!

Papaya
Look at this transformation! Papaya was found as a stray with the worst skin infection I have ever seen! Her finders wanted to keep her, but after weeks of trying to help her skin they could no longer financially or physically take care of her. We took her in and spent many weeks trying to heal her skin. She went from bald, to wirey hair, to these luscious locks! Papaya is a very loved little doggie in her new home!
