Cody Dean

Meet Cody Dean—a little sweet, a little spicy, and ready to find his forever home! 🤎🐴

Cody is our 8-month-old miniature horse at Frankie’s Friends Sanctuary, the farm animal division of The Ruff Project. We rescued his mama, Misty, while she was pregnant, and Cody was born safely in our care. We’ve loved watching him grow from a tiny newborn into a curious, playful little guy with a whole lot of personality!

Misty has found her forever home, and now it’s Cody’s turn. 🥹

He’s a sweet boy with plenty of sass and baby-horse energy—and he’s pretty convinced he’s a racehorse! We’ve been working on his foundational skills, and he needs an experienced, patient home committed to continuing his training with kindness and consistency.

Cody is a very special boy, and we’re looking for a very special home that will give him the same love and care we’ve poured into his start in life.

We’re looking for a home in Southern California with safe fencing and room to play. Cody bonds deeply with other horses, so he must have a horse companion. He cannot be an only horse. He is available as a companion only, with no riding or breeding. Placement will depend on safe weaning and readiness with his basic training.

His adoption will include his recent hoof trim, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and gelding.

If you think you could give our sweet little spitfire the loving, lifelong home he deserves, please apply! 🤎
